of Icelandic Collocations
A
database of Icelandic collocations and
other word combinations. The database contains more than 120,000
entries linked to 50,000 keywords. The project leader is Jón
Hilmar Jónsson.
Dativus
A
program that spots "Dative Sickness" in web pages. A prototype
developed by Björn
Kristinsson.
A
Grammatical Tagger for Icelandic
The
tagger was trained by the NLP Group in cooperation with the Institute
of Lexicography. It is meant to be used in Language Technology
projects. The project leader was Sigrún
Helgadóttir.
The
Hjal Sound Archive
Resources for training an Icelandic speech recognizer. The archive
consists of sound recordings from 2,000 native speakers of Icelandic
and more than 56,000 frequent words transcribed using the SAMPA
phonetic alphabet. The archive is based at the ICLT.

Icelandic
Frequency Dictionary (IFD)
A PoS tagged corpus of 500,000 words from 100 different texts, dating
from the 1990ies. The corpus laid the foundation for the Icelandic
Frequency Dictionary. It is owned by the Department
of Lexicography at the Árni
Magnússon Institute of Icelandic Studies.

Icelandic Language and Culture.
IceNLP
A
Natural Language Processing toolbox for analysing the Icelandic
language. IceNLP consists
of a tokeniser, a
morphological analyser (IceMorphy), a
part-of-speech tagger (IceTagger), and a shallow (finite-state) parser.
These tools have been developed in connection with Hrafns
Loftsson's doctoral dissertation.
Machine
Translation System
Software
for machine translation, bidirectional between
Icelandic and English and from Esperanto to Icelandic, is ready for
use. Free public access to automatic translation, using this software,
will be provided on the Internet at the first opportunity. Further
development is in progress by Stefán
Briem.

Speech Synthesizer
Icelandic
Speech Synthesizer using the MBROLA
system. A prototype developed by Björn
Kristinsson.
Morphological
Database of Icelandic
The
Morphological Database compiled by the Institute
of Lexicography is available for on-line
lookup.
The
Database is also developed for use in Language
Technology projects. The project leader was

sentence aligned corpus of two Icelandic Family Sagas. A prototype
